Am I eligible for a Mega Cash GO loan?
If you are over 18, an Australian citizen or permanent resident and receive an income, you may be eligible for a Mega Cash GO loan.
We verify all your details to make sure our product is suitable for you. Our top priority is to ensure that you have a great experience and are able to comfortably repay your loan.
How much can I borrow?
Mega Cash GO offers loan between $300 and $5000! The amount you can borrow will be based on the amount you ask for and your personal circumstances at the time you apply.
Mega Cash GO will perform an identity and credit check with a credit reporting bureau, as well as assess your income and expenses to ensure that the product you choose is right for you.
How much does it cost?
You’ll always see a clear breakdown of all your fees and repayments before you confirm your loan. As a quick reference, though, here’s a general breakdown of fees:
Small Loan: If the principal amount you borrow is between $300 – $2,000 you’ll pay:

Establishment fee: 20% of the principal amount

Monthly loan fee: 4% of the principal a month
Medium Loan: If the principal amount you borrow is between $2,050 – $5,000 you’ll pay:

Establishment fee: $400 flat rate

Interest Rate: 36% per annum
- Comparison Rate: 53.3385% per annum
The comparison rate is based on an unsecured loan for an amount of $2500 over 2 years with a $400 establishment fee.
What do I need to get started?
Mega Cash GO has tried to make our application process quick and easy! We don’t like paper and long consultation meetings. We do still need to know some things though…
What you will need to apply:
- Internet banking details
- Two of the following forms of identification (drivers license, Medicare card or Passport)
- Your BSB and bank account number (so we know where to deposit your money)
- Plus all the usual stuff like your name, DOB, address, employment information and details on your current expenses, debts and incomes
How do I apply?
Apply: Apply here and answer some basic questions or download our app and apply.
Link: Link your bank account for same day approvals.
Verify: For security purposes, we’ll request that you verify your ID.
Approval: Your loan application is either approved or denied. Either way, you’ll know if your loan’s been approved before the end of the day.*
*application must be received before 3:30pm AEST /AEDT
Funds delivered! Once you’re approved, we’ll send you a direct deposit.
How quickly will I get my money?
We understand the importance of fast financing, and we’re dedicated to delivering just that. Our technology enables you to upload all necessary documents directly from your mobile phone or computer, allowing us to provide you with a speedy response.
Once you’re approved, you’ll receive your funds on the same day.*
*Loan must be approved by 3:30pm AEST/AEDT during business days. Otherwise, the payment will be processed on the next business day. Clearance time is subject to your bank.
Does Mega Cash GO do credit history checks?
Mega Cash GO are responsible lenders and therefore perform a credit check to help evaluate your loan application.
If you have a default on your credit file, don’t worry – we may still be able to help you depending on the situation. While credit history is a vital part of our assessment, we also take other factors into account!
Can I get a loan if I have a bad credit history?
There is more to a customers loan application than a credit history. We understand that!
Therefore it is very much possible you can receive a Mega Cash GO loan, even with a bad credit history.
As a responsible lender, we carefully evaluate all aspects of your application before making a decision. This includes reviewing your income, the reasons for any bad credit history, your expenses, and your ability to repay the loan. We aim to make decisions that are in your best interest!
Can I borrow money if I receive government benefits?
Yes, you can apply for a loan if you receive government benefits. Approval depends on factors such as:
- Your total income, including benefits
- The type of benefits you receive
- Your ability to afford repayments
- Your credit history
- Your expenses, assets and debts
We assess each application carefully to ensure responsible lending that suits your financial situation.
How do I repay my Mega Cash GO loan?
A direct debit will be set up during your loan application process, and you can choose to repay your loan weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Additionally, you can make extra repayments through our app or web app.
All you need to do is ensure the necessary funds are available in your account. You can always check your dashboard to ensure you know when your next repayments are!
What if I can't repay on the due date?
If you’re unable to make a repayment on the due date, it’s important to contact us as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances can change, and we may be able to work with you to reschedule payments or discuss other options, such as a hardship arrangement.
Please note that missed payments may result in additional fees, so it’s best to reach out early to avoid further costs. See our Fee Statement for more information.
Can I talk to a real person if I need help?

What do I do if I am experiencing financial hardship?
We understand that financial hardship can happen to anyone, for any reason. If you’re struggling with your Mega Cash GO loan repayments, we are here to help. It’s essential to inform us of your situation as soon as possible so we can assist you better.
